Nowadays, whenever we talk about mental health, many of us always say that I'm following in a much more holistic approach to my mental health issues, and one of them is always in a key factor that I do meditation. Now, in regard to this meditation, yes, meditation is a very powerful tool for our mental health issues, or even many our physical problems, as long as it is done in a correct way. Self-evaluation is something we all must do in our mental health problem. If you are doing meditation, say for even six months, one year, two years, and you still have to take antidepressant, sleeping pill, or anxiety pills, or you are still suffering from anxiety, anger, hatred, jealous, frustration, then whatever you are doing is really not doing any good to you. You must evaluate that if I'm doing the my meditation, why these things are with me. So that is where I would like to share with you all that Ayurvedic science, the one of the most ancient systems of healing, which we all understand, and meditation actually comes and originate from our Vedic philosophy. That is where the part comes up. Hence in Ayurveda, there is a specific kind of meditation technique which we call as clinical guided meditation techniques. For different issues at mental health component, various different kinds of techniques are advice which one should focus on and try to see the benefit. Meditation is not just about sitting, closing your eyes, or just listening to some music or doing some chant or like that, or maybe some mantra. That is not the meditation. And don't even think of that you through the meditation you are looking for some spiritual progress. That is too far, and it is not something one can achieve by doing such kind of meditation. There are two components which we always talk about self-realization and God realization. And self-realization is what will help you to clean your all those cellular memories which has been corrupted, and we are trying to bring harmony between mind and body. So one first clinical guided meditation technique is known as open eye candle meditation. Now many of us will say, oh hang on, open eye candle meditation. I have done so many times, so many years, even I have done the closed eye candle meditation, and it does not work. Please understand close eye candle meditation or open eye candle meditation isn't just nothing about putting in a candle at your arm's length and trying to look at that. Is not the clinical guided meditation technique of open eye candle meditation. There is in a process, and that process and procedure and technique need to be learned, and a qualified traditional Ayurvedic practitioner, Ayurvedic doctor can help you as long as they have understood these principles in their experience, in their practices. So that process, if you will start following, there is in a time frame to do, there is in a time at what you will do this process, and then the outcome within 30 days you can start seeing different levels of improvement. That's one part, and then yes, next step of that will come up for the close eye candle meditation. But one needs to understand when I will require this open eye candle meditation. This is in a specific technique for people who are suffering from anxieties, fear, panic attack, having a feeling of darkness always inside and not able to feel like doing anything, lack of fear about doing anything in their life is something they will require this technique. Then the second one is known as our sound meditation technique. Again, the same process. Many will say that yes, I have done sound meditation, but when you will visit Ayurvedic doctor and understand how and what this process is, you will be able to see that what you are understanding and what you are doing is not what this technique is talking about, and that is more specifically for those people who have a lot of hatred, a lot of anger, a lot of jealous, a lot of stress in their life happening. So for them, this sound meditation technique will be very specific. Then there is another clinical guided meditation technique known as chant meditation, and this meditation relates with the throat chakra. The first, the sound one is related with your heart chakra, and the first, which I mentioned, open eye candle meditation will relate with your third eye area. So these are the different aspects which we have to work out. I'm not going to go much into chakras aspect here, but that's the whole process is coordinated. And when we're talking about now this chant meditation, this is in a type of meditation very specific for those people who have difficulty to express, they always have a suppressed emotion, they not able to express their thoughts, words, and not able to communicate with their people around them, either at work, either at home. So this clinical guided meditation can really help them. And then there is another very specific clinical guided meditation technique is known as visualization meditation. This is a technique for those people who feel rejections in their life, lack of recognization, lack of appreciation, always feel being rejected or dumped or criticized, for them, this technique is the most powerful technique. So these all clinical guided meditation techniques can be learned from an Ayurvedic qualified doctor and practitioner who has understanding on Ayurvedic psychology and counseling. And if you feel yes, this is something makes sense and you are looking for some help, you can always find or you can come to our clinic, which is in Parn in New Zealand, and I can be of help to you. Thank you.
